Meet the Administration Team
Mr. Jamie Lester
Principal - 7th Grade Admin
Welcome students and families. I am honored to serve as the Principal at Eagleview Middle School.
I was born in New York City and grew up between New York, San Francisco and Chicago, the son of a private school administrator and a second grade teacher turned children’s book author. I studied History at Kenyon College. In 1998, I moved to Colorado. Spending several years in Breckenridge and Steamboat Springs before moving to Colorado Springs to attend graduate school at Colorado College where I received a Master’s degree in the Art of Teaching.
My teaching career started right here at Eagleview, where I was lucky enough to work with sixth and seventh grade students in the Social Studies classroom. After spending time as a Dean of Students and Assistant Principal, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead a school that I have such strong belief in. Eagleview is truly the hub of our Westside community and a school where our talented staff goes to great lengths to ensure that every student finds meaningful connection. Our students bring the hallways of Eagleview alive. Their enjoyment of the Eagleview experience is clear.
I am a proud husband and father of two wonderful young people, a son and a daughter. My family and I live right here in Rockrimmon.
If I can answer any questions about Eagleview or our school community, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
Mr. Troy Gedack
Assistant Principal - 6th Grade Admin
I thoroughly love working with students, staff and the community at EMS. Prior to becoming an administrator, I was an Instructional Coach, Gifted/Talented coordinator, middle US History teacher and theater coach.
I graduated from Colorado College with my degree in History/Political Science and a minor in German. Shortly after graduating from college, I married my high school sweetheart and have two kids (both at AAHS and both went through EMS). I have a double masters in Educational Technology and Leadership, both degrees have served me well in my current journey.
As a Colorado native, I spend my free-time outdoors: hiking, mountain biking, fishing, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.
Each day at Eagleview I'm reminded why I chose a career in education over pursuing a career as an attorney. Thank you for the chance to inspire the next generation of learners and open doors of opportunity for our students – every student, every day!
Ms. Jennifer White
Assistant Principal - 8th Grade Admin & Athletic Director
I have a true passion for watching students grow and learn at their highest level and am very excited to help all students achieve success. My belief and reason for pursuing a career in education is that all kids have the ability to learn. It is our job as educators to provide a safe, rigorous, inclusive, and caring environment to ensure the success of students.
I received my Bachelors degree from Colorado State University in the field of Exercise Sports Science/Pre-Physical Therapy. My master's degrees are from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in Instruction and Curriculum. I also have a master's degree from Grand Canyon University in Educational Administration.
Prior to being in administration, I taught science for 17 years at both the high school and middle school levels, including being the gifted and talented coordinator at the high school level for one year. This will now be my fourth year in administration. As an administrator, I served as Dean of Students at Eagleview for two years and Assistant Principal at Janitell Junior High for one year.
My husband and I have three children, ranging in age from 12 to 20, that keep us very busy. I enjoy any free time I can spend with my family. I love watching all sports, being outside and I always like a good movie.
I am excited to be back at Eagleview Middle School to continue building relationships with parents and community members along with supporting the staff and students on a daily basis.
Ms. Kylee Caraveo
Dean - 7th Grade Admin
Hi, Eagles! I am excited to be a part of this dynamic campus for the second year.
After finishing my undergrad in English and a Masters in Secondary Teaching at Austin College, I taught all flavors of English Language Arts from 7th through 12th grades at two schools in League City, Texas.
My family moved to Colorado Springs, and here I taught high school English at Aspen Valley Campus before leaving the classroom after 15 years to join EMS as Dean.
When my face isn't stuffed in a book, I love spending time with my family and being outside in our beautiful area.
I look forward to working with all our students and families. Here's to a great year!
