Students receive English language development instruction in a classroom setting consisting of small class sizes. ESL students attend mainstream social studies, math, and science classes, along with various exploratory courses. Support in other academic areas is provided in the ESL classroom during Eagletime to assist students in their mainstream courses.
The district-wide ESL department provides various opportunities for families from around the entire district to get together to celebrate the beginning and end of the year, learn about subjects requested by parents, and to ask questions about the program. Translators are available to assist those attending parent-teacher conferences, as well as, the district get-togethers.
